The remarkable craftsmanship of local artisans in Titarpur, New Delhi, as they prepare massive Ravana effigies ahead of the annual Vijayadashami (Dussehra) celebrations. Known as one of India's largest hubs for festive effigy-making, Titarpur comes alive in the weeks leading up to the festival with workshops producing towering representations of Ravana, Meghnad, and Kumbhakaran. Craftsmen carefully assemble bamboo frameworks, layer them with brown paper, and decorate the structures with shimmering metallic foil and colourful materials.
