Devotees at a temple in North India light diyas or traditional earthen lamps in front of the idol of goddess Durga as part of the celebration of Durga Puja. Incense sticks and earthen lamps called Diyas are lit as an offering to the goddess. The Corona Pandemic seems to have deterred big crowds at festival locations in and around Delhi but protective masks are not common at these events. Most of the devotees are seen without masks while performing the ritruals.
