Durga Puja held indoors during the Corona Pandemic with less fanfare than the previous celebrations. The mood is subdued as evident in this clip. The event of Maha Aarti with devotees mostly women holding a lit Diya or lamp in each hand. The women are lined up before the idol of the goddess Durga. This ritual is symbolic of offering flames to a god or gods. The aarti is accompanied by the chanting of Hindu mantras led by the priest who himself has a lamp.
