It's time to pluck the langda mangos off the trees at the Wilderness Orchard in Delhi, before the squirrels and parakeets put paid to them all! The orchard hands climb up the tree and fill buckets with mangoes. Once broken, the langda has enough acidic sweetness to ripen on its own. The mangos get juicy-pulpy-sweet-ripe in around 3 to 5 days and can be consumed in perfect condition.
