Durgesh mali from Rae Bareli /Bareilly, a large township-city in Uttar Pradesh, harvests langda mangoes from a tree in Delhi orchard, using a laggi picker which is essentially a net with a blade cutter at one end set at the tip of a long bamboo pole. The mangos that are cut fall within the net and can be brought down in a controlled fashion without falling to the ground and getting cracked or damaged in any way. This operation took place in the month of June in New Delhi, at the wildfilmsindia orchard. Many of the gardeners in Delhi city come from Rae Bareily area in UP.
