Workers and local farmers harvest ripe mangoes inside a mango orchard in Meerut using long bamboo sticks to carefully pluck the fruit from tall trees. The traditional harvesting method allows mangoes to be removed without damaging the branches or fruit while workers move beneath the dense green canopy of the orchard. Clusters of mangoes hang among the leaves as the bamboo poles are extended upward to reach higher branches during the harvesting season. Mango orchards are an important part of agricultural life across northern India, especially during the summer months when the fruit ripens in large quantities. The footage captures rural farming practices, seasonal fruit harvesting, and traditional orchard work in Uttar Pradesh.
