Saramati Rekhiangpong Dancing club, Salomi Village presents an item called Kao Niu Sao or ploughing of fields by Khiamniugan tribe of Nagaland at Kisama Heritage village, Nagaland. 'Kao Niu Sao' is a custom where all villagers go and cultivate the fields of a rich man. After some months, the rich man calls the villagers for a feast as a mark of gratitude. Khiamniungans are another major tribe inhabiting in Tuensang district of Nagaland. The weavers from Khiamniungans are renowned for their fine and delicate designs. the traditional khiamniungan attire consists of bright red and bright deep blue coloured dresses. The ornaments are made of cowries and conch shells. the Khiamniungan tribals, who traditionaally practised jhum cultivation (slash and burn agriculture), celebrate the Miu festival
