A Grey Wagtail (Motacilla cinerea) actively foraging on the ground, displaying one of its most charming and recognizable behaviors—constantly wagging or pumping its long tail up and down as it moves. With its slender build, bluish-grey upperparts, and bright yellow undertail, the Grey Wagtail is one of the most elegant wagtail species found across India, especially near streams, rivers, and forested mountain habitats. The bird's pale yellow underparts suggest it may be a female or a non-breeding individual.
