The Deodars trees have lost their cones as the season is advanced. The huge Horse Chestnut tree in our ravine is yet to sprout new leaves and is still in winter dormancy. Himalayan Cedar forests or Cedrus deodara at the wildfilmsindia sanctuary at Jabbarkhet, Landour, Uttarakhand. Black-capped or Rufous Sibia and Red-headed Tits are calling. In the distance, white-throated Laughing Thrushes are also calling. The TV tower of Landour hill can be seen towering atop the ridge.
