Young women with children, husbands, fathers and children who live the IIT traffic point beg for money and food if commuters can spare for them everyday. The children and parents go about asking from vehicle to vehicle for money, food etc. They stand and wait for vehicles during red light and polish the exteriors of the cars in return for whatever amount of money they can spare. A man is seen waving at motorists to sell his mask while the women wihthout masks are busy scrubbing a red car. Although begging is illegal in cities like Delhi, quite a number of beggars can be seen on the streets, even more so after the Corona Pandemic Lockdown forced many to go homeless and lose their livelihoods.
