Their first experience of the world is that of a sandy struggle! This group of turtles young struggles to come out of their sandy nest, self born and with no help from their turtle parents. In this magical birth sequence, and in total darkness, baby Ridley Turtles emerge from their sandy nest holes, along Odisha coast. The turtles work entirely on instinct, with no parents around to help them, in typical reptile style. Turtle baby hatchlings emerge from their sandy home, and run towards the Bay of Bengal, with instinct driving them to safety, food and a secure future. But there are dangers that lurk along the way.
