Little Grey Hornbill hicks call out to their father, as the female and chicks remain incarcerated in their hollow trunk tree nest-hole in a bakain tree. Through a little slit in the tree trunk nest-hole, further fortified with mud that was placed wet and has now dried hard, like potter's earth, the female and chicks remain safe inside, while the father drivers himself batty, and grows thin as he feeds them all through the crack, fetching food for the hungry brood and his wife, and feeding himself.
