This mountain's only fault? It was made of marble, so marble miners destroyed it and sold it off piece by piece, slab by slab, and the millennia old mountain was reduced to nothing but a bunch of sitting room flooring... at hug cost to the environment, the workers involved, the tree cover, the soil and nearby water resources. Entire hill-sides are being cut down, marble slab by marble slab, in the Aravalli range of Rajasthan, near Udaipur, Rajsamand, Makrana and Jodhpur. Bull dozers, extractors, stone crushers, cranes and more are deployed in the most mercenary fashion, eating into and destroying, and thus selling off entire chunks of hills that have survived for millennia, and will now be used for home flooring, garden paving and more, in our urban centers, thus further ruining the ground
