Tall Deodar trees stand tall along the hill-side on the north face of Landour hill, along the cemetery walk, in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The thick cement parapets have little utility except for the contractors who earn well from these contracts. As one looks across, one can see Kilmarnock and Rosebank Estates and in the far distance, the hill of Jabbarkhet Estate. A group of Red-billed Blue Magpies are calling. The rare honking sound of a car is heard at the far side of this quiet and peaceful town of Landour.
