A shell less air-breathing gastropod found in gardens and are a pest to food crops. Members of this genus are found even in aquatic conditions. Watch this slug which is closely related to snails move with the help of 'legs' locomotive muscles and reaches out for the grass with its flexible jaw which is lined with microscopic teeth called radula. Notice the median line going down the body of the grey and blackish slug. This has been filmed in New Delhi during the monsoon.
