Demoiselle Cranes in massive numbers call away as they sit near a water hole in Rajasthan. They usually migrate to the northern Indian regions in winter. The cranes are preening their plumage. In a village called Khinchan in Rajasthan, the cranes are welcomed by the locals with sackfulls of grains. The villagers feed them and they are treated like royalty.
