Watch this dramatic sight of a Dhaman or Rat snake consuming a toad. The Rat snake is having a tough time taking in the bloated toad which has been feeding on monsoon-time flying termites. In the natural scheme of things, the termites feed the toad which feeds the Rat Snake, in turn. This is the monsoon profusion that feeds all of India with its moisture and downstream benefits of food for all, including human beings!
