This brown slithering creature is a lovely reptilian creation, and a harmless snake at that: Dhaman Rat Snake. The nest time you see one, please don't scream for help or out of fear, or encourage or allow anyone to harm this fellow. A true farmers' friend is the Dhaman as it seeks and destroys rats. Rat snake is a farmer's friend: Dhaman snake slithers around all active and on the hunt in Delhi monsoon. Watch it literally rise up vertically to get up a tree! Dhaman or Rat Snake is a good little saanp as it eats rats and is thus a farmer's friend - Don't be scared!
