Quiet and peaceful elephant family walk! Meanwhile, a Black Drongo sits unmindful of their passage right behind it's perch on a small shrub in the Dhikala chaur grassland of Corbett National Park in India. The Black Drongo (Dicrurus macrorhynchos) or the kotwal as it is known in Hindi, is a widespread resident of open areas and grasslands in India. The majestic elephants are the largest mammal on land yet they are peaceful and gentle creatures. There are two types of elephant species, Asian (Indian Elephants) and African. Asian Elephants are easily distinguishable from the African tuskers by their smaller size and ears, more rounded back and fourth toenail on each of their hind feet.
