Our team of field staff at the wildfilmsindia Pari Tibba Estate in Motidhar start to collect the rajma crop once the monsoon season has ended, and the rains have mostly ceased. They go from vine to vine collecting the kidney bean pods. And once a bagful has been collected, they take it to the seed and bean sorting station on a makeshift bamboo and board machaan platform, and de-husk the rajma beans from the pods, and leave them in the sun, for drying and ultimately preparing them for consumption.
