Rajma beans sprout and start to grow into climbing vines in the fields at wildfilmsindia Motidhar estate in Uttarakhand. We planted them in June 2021 and in July 2021, they have nicely sprouted and are preparing to start climbing as well. We should have a dry bean rajma harvest by September 2021. Rājmā, also known as Rāzmā or Lal Lobia, is a vegetarian dish, originating from the Indian subcontinent, consisting of red kidney beans in a thick gravy with many Indian whole spices, and is usually served with rice.
