An Indian White-eye (Zosterops palpebrosus) is seen moving between the slender branches of a blooming Palash tree, also known as the Flame of the Forest. The small bird repeatedly jumps from one branch to another before inserting its beak into the bright orange-red flowers to feed. Its olive-green plumage, yellowish throat, and distinctive white ring around the eye are clearly visible as it forages among the blossoms. The vibrant flowers of the Palash tree create a striking natural setting, while the surrounding branches and green foliage fill the background. The scene captures the active feeding behavior of this small Indian bird as it searches for nectar and possibly small insects among the seasonal Palash blooms.
