Enthusiastic motivated Five-striped Palm Squirrel or gilheri digs in to the ground for roots, seeds and tubers at the Wilderness Orchard in New Delhi. Digging with the full force of their front feet and using its mouth with sharp teeth as a trovel, no wonder these gilheris can cause so much agricultural damage to crops such as sunflowers and corn or bhutta / makai.
