A Gilheri or Five-striped Northern Palm Squirrel is filmed inside a park in New Delhi. The urban common rodent is seen in slow motion as it maneuvers around a Neem branch and is seen chilling on a dry branch. Watch the squirrel forage for food among the dry twigs on the ground. These squirrels are abundant in public parks and in tall trees in urban areas and are very good adapters to the ever changing urban environment. They are mostly diggers but they can also survive on discarded human food.
