The Katang Putit or Kharra - the noisy and gregarious Pied Magpie of Ladakh, Shanti Stupa lit up at night, a Ladakhi woman collects potatoes from her fields, and apples on the trees outside a homestead in Leh. A passenger commercial airlines traverses the blue and white cloudy and clear skies of Leh, as seen from Shanti Stupa hill. A biker gang drives through Leh. Prayer flags atop a hill above Shanti Stupa. Water ATM's of Leh dispense cold and hot water, and have been made to provide clean drinking water for tourists, without the need for them to buy plastic bottles that are then irresponsibly disposed off.
