Prakash Jha on Madhuri Dixit's talent: "She has a tremendous presence. I mean the mobility of her face makes her doubly impressive as an actress. But what I found most interesting was that she understood the character, she was able to express it almost always to the right stress and degree in which you can really measure an actress. I have not seen previous films of Madhuri. But I had seen her and she was able to create a character in my mind. The character in Mrityudandh was beautifully adapted by Madhuri."
