Prakash Jha is all praises for Madhuri Dixit for her performance in Mrityudandh: "Madhuri gave a consistent performance in Mrityudandh, her adaptation of her character was apt as per my own imagination. It is a difficult thing to say that the actor will be able to portray the character as per the director's expectation. For a director like me, it gets difficult to keep up with my imagination, I struggle with the characters as the imagination is so vast. Hence, having a character sketch to the point becomes a struggle."
