Reiek Tlang is one of the hills located just outside Aizawl (about 12 kms away) and is a popular destination for adventure seekers. The views surrounding the hill are breathtaking and makes the visit worthwhile. There is a heritage village set up by the tourism department in Reiek, that gives visitors a glimpse into the lifestyle of Mizo villagers. The tourism department also organizes Anthurium festival every year to showcase the lovely anthuriums that are grown in the surrounding and also to introduce the culture and arts of Mizoram to visitors. Reiek with an elevation of 1548 metres, overlooks Aizawl and offers view of the surrounding valleys and hills, on a clear day the plains of Bangladesh can be seen from the top of the hill.
