We are were on our way to Ghandruk from Pokhara and by this time we had entered the Annapurna Conservation Area riding through Birethanti. Nepal has a rich fauna and flora reserve as can be seen from the video. The region is considered the original heartland of Nepal and includes some of the most beautiful and fertile valleys in the country, in this case, Pokhara along with a rugged mountain topography. In general, the area rises towards the north, to the main Himalayan ranges, and up to 30% of these slopes are worked traditionally into innumerable terraces, which are extensively cultivated.
