A traditional farming practice in Agoda Village, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, where local mountain farmers store bundles of dried grass high in the forks of Japanese apricot or plum trees (Prunus mume). Elevating the fodder above the ground helps protect it from moisture, decay, and livestock while allowing natural air circulation. At the same time, the trees are covered with delicate blossoms featuring five white petals, yellow anthers, and numerous unopened flower buds along dark branches. The footage highlights the combination of traditional Himalayan farming methods with the arrival of spring flowering in the mountain landscape.
