Perched precariously forty feet up in an Eucalyptus tree, this peacock wobbles back and forth in order to balance itself. The Indian peacock (Pavo cristatus) or blue peafowl is a glamorous bird also the national bird of India can be seen preening its feathers while perched on a branch. The national bird of India is the Indian Peafowl commonly termed as a Peacock. Vividly colourful and exuding oodles of grace, the Indian Peafowl commands a lot of attention.
