Large crowds of devotees move through temporary settlements, roadside stalls, and organized pathways created to accommodate millions of visitors arriving for the annual religious fair. Men dressed in traditional lungis, dhotis, kurtas, and pyjamas, along with women wearing colourful sarees and shawls, reflect the cultural diversity of pilgrims attending the mela from different parts of India.
