Two exemplars of White-throated Laughingthrush (Garrulax albogularis) are spotted foraging for insects in the grass. Further on, they are seem on branches. White-throated Laughingthrush are rather large birds, measuring between 28 and 31 centimetres. For such a 'large' bird, this species has a quite thin shrill wheezy voice. They mainly eat insects during the breeding season. Otherwise they also feed fro berries and seeds. These birds are mostly seen in flocks of 6-15 individuals and are considered Gregarious. Between March and July this species is in its breeding season. Their nests are made of coarse dry grasses, dead bamboo and ivy twigs. It looks like a moderately deep cup.
