It's eyes shutting from the extreme pain of a collision with a train, this elephant suffers in silence. A villager offers it succour, by way of water which the elephant gratefully accepts. It also sprays some over it's body to try and stay cool. The trunk snakes into the man's water bowl and sucks up the liquid... This poor elephant got injured from a passing railway line, as it tried to migrate to an adjacent forest, and now lies to one side, heavily injured and bleeding. In pain, it grumpily and gratefully eats a sugarcane and banana stalk provided to it by the villagers. The villagers all bring the elephant whatever they can arrange. The elephant doesn't seem to like the dry grass and after tasting it flicks it aside! It tries to stretch and stand up but just can't muster the strength.
