In the quiet forested surroundings of Mussoorie, an abandoned house long associated with local ghost stories is being demolished. The structure had stood neglected for years, slowly deteriorating due to harsh mountain weather, heavy monsoon rains, and lack of maintenance. Cracked walls, broken wooden frames, and overgrown vegetation had made the property structurally unsafe. Over time, the empty building gained a reputation as a “haunted house,” with residents sharing stories of strange sounds and eerie sightings. While such tales added mystery to the location, property owners prioritized safety. Due to the risk of collapse and potential danger, demolition work was initiated.
