It's been many years since the tragic Uttarakhand Floods. However, are we any better prepared for such flooding? When the next flooding incident does hit the Himalaya, will we be better prepared or even marginally ready for it? The worst of the Uttarakhand floods: a compilation of frightening imagery from our favourite mountains... What we did to the river before what the river did to us... In frightful recollection of what happened in 2013, and in obeisance to the tens of thousands who lost their lives, up in our favourite hills of Garhwal.. To remind us all of the tragic month of June 2013 in Uttarakhand, while looking ahead at better times! In homage to the victims of this catastrophe, with a balanced sense of hope for the future, to a better-planned development blueprint for the state
