Livestock grazing in the Western Ghats can destroy local flora and rare species with their hooves and mouths. A car traverses a rain drenched Ghats road during the monsoons. A little stream flows through grasses in a lovely little stretch even as rice is grown in the agricultural fields of nearby villages.
