This wildlife clip showcases the stunning Verditer Flycatcher (Eumyias thalassinus), a brilliantly colored bird perched on a tree branch in its natural habitat. Known for its vivid turquoise-blue plumage, the Verditer Flycatcher is one of the most eye-catching birds found across the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. A skilled insectivore, this species hunts by sallying out from exposed perches to catch flying insects mid-air before returning to the same branch. It is commonly seen in forests, wooded gardens, and hill regions, especially during the breeding season when its colours appear most vibrant.
