Plane taking off from Tribhuvan airport, Nepal, and heading towards Paro in Bhutan! The green valley around Kathmandu can be seen beyond the perimeter fencing of the Tribhuvan International airport. Bhutan is a kingdom in South Asia, located at the eastern end of the Himalayas and bordered to the south, east and west by the Republic of India and to the north by the People's Republic of China. Bhutan is separated from the nearby country of Nepal to the west by the Indian state of Sikkim, and from Bangladesh to the south by West Bengal. Kanchenjunga as seen aerially on the flight from Kathmandu to Paro in Bhutan. This clip also affords a superb view of Mt. Everest or Chomolongma in Tibetan or Sagarmatha in Nepalese. This is the world's highest mountain at 29, 028 feet of 8848 meters altitude
