A dragonfly identified as Tholymis tillarga, commonly known as the Coral-tailed Cloudwing or Evening Skimmer, is observed in New Delhi, India. This species is recognized by reddish eyes, a yellowish-red thorax, and a coral-red abdomen, along with transparent wings that may show dark patches. It is typically active during low-light conditions such as dawn, dusk, and occasionally at night. The species is widely distributed across tropical regions of Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Pacific. In India, it is commonly found near water bodies such as ponds, marshes, and paddy fields.
