This Haunted house which is situated in Jaberkhet, Uttarakhand may well have ghosts! Of course, our belief is that there isn't enough inviolate space left for ghosts, given the 1.20 billion Indians in India. The chowkidar (security guard) says that he is scared to be there at night as people say the haunting ghost still moans in the late hours. Rumours say that a loving couple used to live there around 70 years back. One day the wife died and since then no one knows what happened to the husband. Locals fear that the husband killed the wife and then himself and their ghosts still roam there. Landour, a small cantonment town contiguous with Mussoorie, is about 35 km (22 mi) from the city of Dehradun in the northern state of Uttarakhand in India.
