L-95 A leopard attacks a number of villagers sequentially, leaping across the tile and shingle rooftops of Chandrapur village in Maharashtra. In an indication of increased conflicts between man and animal, leopard attacks have been on the rise with the latest one occurring in Chandrapur in Maharashtra. The attack which was caught on camera shows terrified residents trying to chase away the leopard with rods and instead fleeing for their lives when the leopard turns on them. In one instance a man is badly mauled on the rooftops. A crowd of men armed with rods can be seen running helter and skelter as the leopard turns on its attackers.
