A dense cluster of wild mushrooms growing directly from the soil at Wilderness Orchard in New Delhi, India. The fungi are emerging from a damp section of the forest floor, where moisture and organic matter create favorable growing conditions. Such mushrooms play an important ecological role by helping decompose plant material and recycle nutrients within the ecosystem. Their clustered growth pattern is commonly observed in humid environments following rainfall or periods of high soil moisture. The footage documents fungal growth in a natural woodland habitat.
