A winter journey through the high-altitude cold desert of Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India. Snow-covered mountain ranges rise above a frozen valley basin as clouds drift across the ridgelines. Dry-stone terrace walls divide snow-covered fields beside a trail where several trekkers can be seen walking. The route continues along a rugged mountain road covered in patches of snow and slush, passing a tunnel-like opening and approaching Chicham Bridge.
