An Apple Hawkmoth (Langia zenzeroides) resting motionless on bare, gravel-covered ground. Its mottled grey-brown wings and scalloped margins closely resemble a curled, dried leaf, providing effective daytime camouflage. Close-up views reveal the moth's textured thorax, delicate antennae, patterned wings, and legs resting against the loose gravel. Langia zenzeroides is a large hawkmoth associated with the Himalayan foothills and parts of Asia. The footage captures the species' leaf-like appearance and detailed camouflage at close range.
