Imagine being in the Himalaya and being subjected to the largest hail stones you ever saw, heavy thunder and powerful lightning? We enjoy such weather at wildfilmsindia, even if it kills all our spring flowering plants! First the size of marbles and then the size of golf falls, these hail stone destroyed the Edelweiss, Lupine, gentian and Rhododendron saplings and plants being prepared at the Wilderness Orchard and botanical gardens in Uttarakhand. Rupin Dang speaks of the phenomenon and the sudden formation of hail in the lower atmosphere, as rain droplets fell in large numbers... they coalesced into hail.
