The rescue of a young barn owl from a storage unit in Dakshin Puri Ext in South Delhi. A call was made to Wildlife rescue to come rescue the bird from the owner of the storage unit. Wildlife rescue is an organisation which was started with the aim of providing immediate relief to distressed wildlife in the urban city of Delhi and National Capital Region. Started by two brothers, Nadeem Shahzad and Mohammad Saud, they run a 24-hour helpline and ambulance service for raptors. Operational since 2003, they have a temporary facility to rescue, treat and rehabilitate Raptors (Birds of Prey) at old Delhi. As well as another shelter in North Delhi. They rescue, provide shelter and assist in the medical needs ranging from surgeries, implants and dressing of wounds for the birds captured. They
