Kaplani near Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, is surrounded by densely forested Himalayan hills and steep mountain valleys. A small settlement follows a winding ridge, with multi-story buildings and a mountain road visible among the thick greenery. White cars and other vehicles can be seen along the road near the hillside buildings. Multiple layers of forested mountain ridges extend into the distance, gradually fading into a bluish-grey haze. The landscape combines dense evergreen forests, mountain settlements and winding roads characteristic of the Mussoorie region.
