A deserted aerodrome apart from the security and the signal boy as the jet of the Indian Air force lands in Delhi carrying the remains of former Prime Minister and Congress Chief Rajiv Gandhi as it lands in the National Capital. Out comes Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and are greeted by an entourage that includes then Prime Minister Chandrashekhar, President R Venkataraman, and other political and military dignitaries. After greeting the President and other dignitaries, a distraught Sonia Gandhi is seen breaking down in Priyanka's embrace.
