The blood-red grapefruit is more associated with the blood oranges of Italy but our own lal chakotra has equally impressive interior colour and a lovely fragrance as well as sour-sweet grapefruit taste. The smaller orange hard rind globes seen at the beginning of this clip are malta. The red-yellow larger fruit is the red blood grape fruit. The tall tree is laden with winter fruit, but the smaller kinno / kinnow shrubs are laden for harvest as well.
